Norge Garganega Ancestral Method Sparkling Wine IGT
Norge is the product of the peasant tradition of Gambellara, a pure Garganega coming from the hill, which has been fermented with its natural yeasts. To become sparkling in a natural way, Recioto must was added in February during the pressing, this made sure that the second fermentation in the bottle started. The Norge, named after his grandfather Framarin's nickname, represents a wine as he would have made it without technology. It is bottled keeping its own yeasts inside the bottle itself which block naturally leaving the characteristic lees. The sulfur dioxide is very low and declared on the label so as to be able to taste even an extra glass and the cap is crowned according to tradition. It is drunk well as an aperitif and throughout the meal for cross-country lovers, especially with pizza and sushi.
