Norge Garganega Ancestral Method Sparkling Wine IGT

Norge Garganega Ancestral Method Sparkling Wine IGT

Norge is the product of the peasant tradition of Gambellara, a pure Garganega coming from the hill, which has been fermented with its natural yeasts. To become sparkling in a natural way, Recioto must was added in February during the pressing, this made sure that the second fermentation in the bottle started. The Norge, named after his grandfather Framarin's nickname, represents a wine as he would have made it without technology. It is bottled keeping its own yeasts inside the bottle itself which block naturally leaving the characteristic lees. The sulfur dioxide is very low and declared on the label so as to be able to taste even an extra glass and the cap is crowned according to tradition. It is drunk well as an aperitif and throughout the meal for cross-country lovers, especially with pizza and sushi.

THE VINEYARD

The Garganega vine is the most important white grape variety in the province of Vicenza. With a lot of scents among which almond and white flowers stand out, Garganega is a balance of extracts and sugars. With pentagonal leaves with pronounced teeth; long, cylindrical and slightly loose bunches. Golden yellow grapes, the Garganega in this wine is coming from the foothills, in the Giaroni area.

CULTIVATION
and production

Solo Lei is the result of at least three months of aging on the fine lees called batonage in steel barrels.

The method enriches the structure and the olfactory part of the wine even more, bringing the taste to very high levels of quality.
