THE VINEYARD
The Glera vine has medium-large and pentagonal leaves. The bunch is medium-large, pyramidal, elongated and with two pronounced wings, rather sparse. The berry is medium-sized, spheroidal, with a golden-yellow and firm skin. 100% Glera in this Prosecco wine is coming from the foothills, in the Giaroni area.
CULTIVATION
and production
The grapes, transported to the cellar with bins boxes to avoid crushing, are destemmed and subjected to soft pressing. The first fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, while the second fermentation in an autoclave is at low temperatures with selected yeasts, according to the Charmat Method. The fine and persistent perlage is given by the second fermentation in an autoclave lasting 3-4 months.
